The combined Handcuffing & Chemical Weapons Training Course is an 8-hour course, with lecture, written test, and hands on practical training. The Handcuffing Course will cover how to properly place handcuffs in an efficient and safe manner in order to reduce the risk of injury to the person being handcuffed and to the guard. The Chemical Weapons portion of this course is designed to teach students discretion and restraint in the use of chemical weapons as well as techniques for proper pepper spray/tear gas handling. The course will cover the moral and legal aspects of chemical weapons usage. An inert canister will be used for practice spraying on a target. The students will not be sprayed.
Students must successfully pass the training and written exam before a Handcuff
Training Certificate and Chemical Weapons Training Certificate can be issued at the end of the course.
Students must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate. You must be a citizen of the U.S. or have permanent resident alien status and show a valid driver’s license or other valid photo ID to use any services provided under this agreement.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Short sleeve shirt is recommended.
You can bring your own handcuffs to use for the class. Handcuffs are also available for sale at our location.
Requirements:
1. Only registered security guards or security guard applicants are eligible to take this course
2. Must possess a valid CA DL or ID card
3. Must be at least 18 years old or older
4. Must be a U.S. Citizen or have current permanent resident alien status
5. Must have a valid Guard Card
All classes taught by Delta Tactical are in English. Please read this thoroughly before signing up for any classes offered by Delta Tactical. At this time, we do not provide or allow translators to accompany students during classes, nor do we allow usage of translation applications "apps", software or other translation services to be used during classes. Students who attend our classes must be fluent in the English language and be able to understand, read and write in English.
Anyone suspect of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to take DTTG courses. DELTA TACTICAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
