Course Description:

The Handcuff Training Course is a 4 hours course, consisting of lecture, written test, and hands on practical training with handcuffs. It is recommended that you take a handcuff training course to avoid any future legal or civil liability. The course will cover how to properly place handcuffs in an efficient and safe manner to avoid any injury to the person being handcuffed or to the guard.


Students must successfully pass the training and written exam before a Handcuff
Training Certificate can be issued.

Requirements:

Student must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate and show a valid driver’s license or other valid photo ID to use any services provided under this agreement.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Short sleeve shirt is recommended.

You can bring your own handcuffs to use in class.

All classes taught by Delta Tactical are in English.  Please read this thoroughly before signing up for any classes offered by Delta Tactical.  At this time, we do not provide or allow translators to accompany students during classes, nor do we allow usage of translation applications "apps", software or other translation services to be used during classes.  Students who attend our classes must be fluent in the English language and be able to understand, read and write in English.

Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will NOT be allowed to take courses. DELTA TACTICAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.

NOTE: This course is given on same day as Chemical weapons Training Course. You can register for both classes on same day

Payments for courses are non-refundable. However, a course may be rescheduled one time if you are unable to attend your originally scheduled training date. You must reschedule at least 48 hours prior to the originally scheduled date and the rescheduled date must be within one year of the original date for it to be honored. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, then your payment will be forfeited and you will lose your reservation.

Note: All classes are graded on a pass/fail basis. Participants who fail this class can retake it by paying the class fee of $50. All classes are taught in English. Students must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to participate fully in classroom instruction, written materials, discussions, and examinations. To maintain instructional integrity and testing security, outside translators, interpreters, and translation apps or software are not permitted during class. Students who are unable to meet this requirement may not be able to successfully complete the course. California Business and Professions Code Section 7583.23(b)(1) requires that any applicant for a firearms permit must have successfully completed a written examination and a firearms training course within the six months before submitting their application.
